HIGH POINT – Sustainable Furnishings Council has set its High Point Market events agenda and released its annual Guide to Green publication to help make shopping the market for eco-friendly product simpler.

Guide to Green, available both online and in person at High Point Market, is a listing of SFC members that show at High Point Market.

Green products at High Point Market will also be honored publicly with an inaugural “Green Ribbon” award based on their design, sustainability and ingenuity with an online awards presentation from noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 13. Judges for the awards are SFC Ambassadors, who will share how they would incorporate these and other earth-friendly pieces into their upcoming projects..

At noon on Oct. 15, the results of the 2020 Wood Furniture Scorecard, listing furniture companies based on their sustainability, will be announced online. During the presentation, attendees will have the chance to meet companies that earned top score status for the year. Laura Hodges, SFC ambassador, will lead the discussion with representatives from the Top Score retailers, celebrating their commitments and beautiful product sourcing choices.
