SALT LAKE CITY – Walker Edison, a ready-to-assemble furniture provider, has added four new members to its team.

The company is bringing on Sharat Alankar in the new role of vice president of strategy and analytics. He will lead the strategy of the corporate business, including assortment strategy, new business development, operational excellence, project management and analytics.
Alankar is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he studied electrical engineering. He most recently led marketplace strategy, operations and enablement for Walmart’s’ e-commerce division.
The company has added Erika Henderson as its new head of design development. She will lead both the design and production management teams, which includes collaboration with sales, strategy, supply chain and marketing. Henderson has spent 20 years designing and developing furniture with retailers including Pottery Barn, Smith & Hawken, Pier 1, Costco, Target and Crate & Barrel.
Joshua Bradley will fill the newly created role of general manager of retail operations. He brings experience with building out retail stores, most recently adding 32 stores new stores across the U.S. in his previous position with Amer Sports Corp. Bradley will be in charge of Walker Edison’s only brick-and-mortar location, the storefront warehouse attached to its corporate headquarters in West Jordan, Utah.
Walker Edison has recently made customer service into its own department and added Olivia Frere as its new the director of customer service. Frere has worked in customer service for nearly 10 years, most recently at Carve Designs.
