WARREN, Mich. – Loves Furniture & Mattresses, a new furniture chain created by U.S. Assets, the Dallas-based private equity firm behind the planned purchase of 27 Art Van, Levin and Wolf Furniture stores, has officially opened its Warren, Mich., location and headquarters.
The opening of the new 6500 E. 14 Mile Road location effectively triples the brand’s physical footprint in a two-month time frame and houses the new corporate headquarters of Loves, the company’s distribution center and the second storefront in Warren, Mich.
Loves will bring more than 500 jobs to the area with the opening, along with strategic partners across the Warren store, distribution center and headquarters. The new complex includes nearly 6 million cubic feet of storage space and more than 1 million square feet of space across the corporate campus. More than $150 million in product will flow through the distribution center in the next 12 months.
“We are incredibly proud to establish our headquarters in Warren and bring more than 500 jobs to the local community,” said Matt Damiani, Loves CEO. “This new corporate campus, including our distribution center, will centralize business operations and allow us to enhance customer service and expedite delivery times.”
Loves stores, including the new Warren location, carry brands including Tempurpedic, Beautyrest, Serta, Stearns & Foster, Lane, Bassett, Flexsteel, Jonathan Lewis and Bernhardt. In stores, customers may choose to shop independently or with the assistance of Loves Home and Sleep Specialists, who are trained on how to provide support in-person or online.
