HIGH POINT – In addition to expanding its product line at this week’s High Point Market, stationary and motion upholstery major Kuka Home is making moves in the e-commerce channel as well as adapting best-selling designs to home office seating.
Kuka’s motion line has 15 new styles featuring causal motion looks and the latest innovations in technology and design with new massage and mechanism capabilities.That includes entrance into the massage category with new power heat and massage recliners with power headrest lumbar functionality.
Other motion additions include the contemporary Aura power recliner with a sleek metal swivel base and an expanded roll out of the Evolution 2020 high leg motion mechanisms.
In stationary, the company has expanded its transitional style offering and updated trendsetting California casual styles with 12 new models featuring open and inviting silhouettes with neutral, soft tones and lots of texture. For stationary goods, Kuka added signature transitional designs and updated looks in leather and fabric.
In addition, a new slipcover assortment allows customization with the purchase of additional covers for those frames.
To better target the big-box and e-commerce channels, Kuka has developed new collections that appeal to today’s lifestyle changes and adapt to evolving consumer buying habits and needs.
Those developments include the introduction of In-Tune, a new collection of simple, casual motion and stationary designs that are “in tune” with the latest design and lifestyle trends. It targets Millennial consumers with clean lines and colorful, updated designs for small spaces. This collection also includes four motion designs with full power-power features.
Build Simply is a new e-commerce program comprising four stationary models and 12 new dining and accent chairs. These trend-focused products have been specially engineered for e-commerce with drop-ship packaging, small-space designs and simple assembly. Brick-and-mortar retailers can also stock smaller items in store for an omnichannel experience.
With more people working from home, the need for home office furniture has increased, and Kuka has reimagined key upholstery designs and adapted them for the new Work Smart Home Office Chair Gallery, with 15 new introductions. Each chair is ergonomically designed for comfort and correct posture, with styling to fit any décor from contemporary to traditional.
