SAN FRANCISCO – Direct-to-consumer furniture brand Inside Weather has launched a new sofa collection called Aero, designed by the company’s development team in California.

The sofa is 100% modular and can be made as a one-seater, two-seater, three-seater or four-seater, with or without a chaise. It also offers two seat-depth cushion options of either the 22-inch classic or the 28-inch lounge format.

With a low-profile sustainably made platform frame, the sofa features an architectural back design along with plus-size cushions. Inside Weather added a water-resistant nylon casing to all cushions and pillow covers to allow for simple removal and cleaning.

High or low arm styles are also offered, as well as the option of built-in side tables and more than 50 upholstery choices including performance, commercial and pet-friendly.

The kiln-dried solid wood and Baltic birch plywood that make up the sofa’s frame are Forest Stewardship Council and Sustainable Furnishings Council certified. In addition, the material used to fill the pillows and cushions is 100% recycled down alternative.

“This means that one sofa equals roughly 200 recycled plastic bottles,” the company said.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Inside Weather also plants one tree with the help of the National Forest Foundation for every Aero order that’s placed online.
