LOS ANGELES – Fernish, a subscription furniture e-commerce company, has named Kerry Cooper, former chief marketing officer at Walmart.com, to the company’s board.

“Kerry has an exceptional background as an executive across consumer-driven e-commerce,” said Michael Barlow, co-founder of Fernish. “She was vice president of strategy and development and then CMO at Walmart.com, in charge of connecting the online and offline customer experience and helping create the platform’s initial online marketplace. We would be hard-pressed to find someone more qualified than Kerry to help supercharge our company’s trajectory.”

Cooper also acted as the president and chief operating officer at Rothy’s, leading the popular direct-to-consumer brand that creates shoes from plastic water bottles with a low-waste 3D-knitting process.

As a member of the Fernish board, Cooper will be focused on scaling acquisition marketing, product design and e-commerce systems.
