DETROIT – Floyd, a direct-to-consumer furniture manufacturing company has partnered with Fully, a company specializing in ergonomic furniture design, to release a new standing desk.

The new Floyd X Fully Standing desk combines two design elements into a unified product, according to the companies. The desk features Fully’s programmable Jarvis Frame along with Floyd’s plywood table surfaces, combining the two brands’ shared commitment to sustainability and high-quality design.

The desk can be programmed to quickly and quietly adjust from 24.5 inches to 50 inches with a touch handset to accommodate a wide variety of heights.

Floyd’s tabletops are crafted in the U.S. from premium birch plywood, a material used for resilience and durability. They are offered in a classic birch finish, an FSC-certified walnut finish, and a natural linoleum surface is also available in Fog, a gray tone.

“For years, we have reiterated on and re-engineered the standing desk, to bring to market one of the highest-rated standing desks available,” according to the design team at Fully. “With a shared obsession around innovative, thoughtful design, we came together to bring a new level of beauty and function to the home office.”

The designers at Fully say they have perfected the desk’s steel leg frame to create one of the most stable standing desks on the market, that can carry a 350-pound lifting capacity. The new desk is available online in both white and black powder-coated finishes and retails for $875.
