BAYSWATER and BRONTE, Australia — Art Hide and Ground Control has launched new collections of customizable rugs inspired by the architecture, style and desert landscape of Palm Springs.
The new collection, designed by Art Hide founding sister duo, Kura Perkins and Bree Hay-Hendry, offers a nostalgic mid-century glamour mixed with a sunny Southern California feel.
Highlights of Art Hide premium cowhide collection include bold patterns featuring tones of shrimp, cognac and swimming pool jades, alongside muted dry moss, sand and charcoal. Along with its custom dyeing, the company’s signature laser burning technique creates elegant curves and geometric finesse.
The Ground Control collection features textured jutes and wools in raw tones mixed with earthy and marbled hues. Sleek lines are mixed with both organic and geometric shapes.
Art Hide and Ground Control have been operating in the U.S. from a base in Charlotte, N.C., for six years and feature a catalog of custom projects with some of the country’s best known interior designers.
All styles are available now and can be fully customized to any size, shape or color.
